There are three sizes of Macpresse Hogger available: the Mac1000, Mac 1500 and Mac 2000 (1000mm, 1500mm and 2000mm wide respectively). Hoggers are designed on the principle of a single high speed rotor with fixed hammers. This design ensures that Macpresse Hoggers can shred large packs of material such as reams and bundles of paper, newspaper in strapped packs, books, telephone directories and even paper cores. Complying with all international safety standards Macpresse Hoggers are built with a heavy-duty frame to withstand the large dynamic forces of the shredding operation. Hammers are manufactured from high tensile, wear resistant steel for long life and trouble free operation. When worn, hammers are easily replaced with very little downtime. Controlled from the main panel Macpresse Hoggers offer tremendous output and low running costs. Hoggers can be fitted with a dust reduction system and sound-proofing enclose to comply with international safety standards. |
